Annual Dream Game

"They were a part of the program for years," said Old Forge football coach Mike Schuback. "They will be difficult for us to replace."

The three were major contributors to Old Forge's unbeaten regular season last year and the success of the program since they were freshman, with all taking major roles on both sides of the ball leading Old Forge to win the Lackawanna Football Conference Division III title.

The Blue Devils dominated the regular season with a high powered offense and a strong defense. "They worked very hard and did whatever they could to help the team," Schuback said. "They played all different positions for us."

The Old Forge offense was the highest scoring team the Lackawanna Football Conference Division III last year. Morris was the work horse of the offense as the running back, where he has been one of the top backs in the league since he was an underclassman. He is a quick and shifty back, who knew what to do when he broke loose and often would break long runs with many resulting into touchdowns.

Morris busting loose into the open field was a result of a strong powerful offensive line.

The line was anchored by both Zambetti and Grasso. The offensive line grew for a few years when Schuback recognized how good the line could be when its members reached their senior year. They were strong as underclassmen as well. While the offensive line was strong, the defense line was just a physical and most of them also were stars on defense.

"A.J (Grasso) and Mark (Zambetti) started right off the bat a couple weeks into the season," Schuback said of their early varsity time. "They are all very competitive. What I thought was so important this year was their selflessness and how they would do anything to help us

Another key member of the offensive line was Kyle Holland, who was named to the County team, but could not play because he is preparing for his upcoming season at Holy Cross.

Zambetti was also one of the top linebackers in the league and he will be continuing his athletic and academic careers at King's College.

"The Dream Game and Jerry (Preschutti) do a great a job," Schuback said of the honor of playing in the Dream Game. "It is fun playing and coaching in the game. It does mean something to play in that game. Those guys would also love to be teammates one last time."
