Dream Workshop
TAYLOR - A workshop called "My Amazing Dream - Is That Really Me?" will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at the Taylor Public Library.
The workshop will show attendees how to understand the language and symbolism of dreams as an expression of your inner self. The presentation is hosted by Scranton resident Rosemary McGuigan, who has taken dream analysis courses in New York and Pennsylvania and has taught psychiatric nursing.
There is no charge but bring a pencil and paper.

Moonlight Walk/Run
SCRANTON - The eighth annual Moonlight Walk/Run, presented by Geisinger Community Medical Center, will be held on Sunday, April 29, at Nay Aug Park, Scranton. The event is the largest annual fundraiser to benefit the Children's Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Events include a family festival, kid's fun run, 5k walk/run and a 10k walk/run. Registration begins at 3 p.m.

Taylor Seniors
TAYLOR - The regular, monthly meeting of the Taylor Senior Citizens will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, in the senior room. Upcoming events will be discussed and refreshments will be served.
Chicken Dinner
PITTSTON - The United Methodist Church, Broad and Church streets, Pittston, will host a family style roast chicken dinner and bake sale from 4:30-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. The menu includes a half roast chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, pepper hash, cranberry sauce, dessert and beverage. Adults are $9; children younger than 10 are $4.50.
A limited number of tickets will be available at door.
Sons of Italy
OLD FORGE - Old Forge Sons of Italy, Gloria Lodge meeting and social is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at Arcaro and Genell Banquet Hall. The meeting is open to all individuals who may express an interest in becoming a member of the Sons of Italy. Make an attempt to pay your annual dues and/or bring them up to date.
Celebrity Bartending
SCRANTON - Riverside Vikings Touchdown Club will hold a celebrity bartender fundraiser from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the Backyard Ale House in Scranton.
Craft Show
MOOSIC - The Moosic RedWings Softball League will present a Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, at the Greenwood Hose Co. All proceeds to benefit the Moosic RedWings Girls Softball League. Admission is $1 and children younger than 12 are admitted free.
Basketball Signups
TRIBORO - The Riverside Youth Basketball Association will hold sign ups for its summer league on the following dates: Sunday, April 15; Wednesday, April 25; and Sunday, April 29, at the Moosic Youth Center from 6-9 p.m.
Memorial Day Parade
TAYLOR - The annual Memorial Day Parade sponsored by Taylor Post No. 306 will be held at 10 a.m. on May 28. The starting point will be at Taylor Hose Company No. 1, 600 Union St., Taylor, participating groups are asked to arrive for 9 a.m. The parade route will travel down Union Street to Main Street then continue on to the Taylor Community Center, 700 S. Main St.
Brief ceremonies will be held at the Taylor Municipal Building, Taylor Memorial Cemetery and the closing ceremony at the Taylor Community Center.
The officers of Post No. 306 invite everyone to participate in this very important event. Any past groups that have participated in this annual parade are encouraged and invited to attend. Any local groups (new or old) that would like to march in the parade are requested to contact the Post at 562-9920.
Bus Trip
PITTSTON - A bus trip to the Doo Wop Cavalcade Show at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m.
Cost is $94 and includes bus seat, show ticket, dinner, all tips and taxes. Reservations must be made no later than Thursday, May 31.
A $50 deposit is required when making reservation and balance is due by Wednesday, Aug. 1. A smorgasbord dinner at Shady Maple will follow the show.

Yard Waste
TAYLOR - The Taylor Department of Public Works have resumed the weekly collection of yard waste. Residents are requested to use open containers for leaves, grass and yard waste. Tree limbs and branches need to be bundled together with string, rope or twine.
