Lucia Dudziec, 10, of Moosic, was recently awarded first place overall divisional winner award, at Dancers Inc. national final competition, competing among students from 31 dance studios at Split Rock Resort. Dudziec competed with “I’ve Got Rhythm,” a tap solo.

Dudziec also performed for an upcoming episode of “WonderamaTV,” a syndicated TV variety series, which will air during the show’s second season this fall.

Dudziec is a student at Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence Charter School in Scranton and performs jazz, ballet, tap, vocals, acting, acrobatics and gymnastics. She is a student of Prima Elite’s Academy of Dance in Scranton and The Creative and Performing Arts Academy of NEPA, Scranton.

Dudziec is the daughter of Michael and Francene Dudziec of Moosic and granddaughter of James and Frances Pisano, Exeter, and Arthur and Virginia Dudziec.
