June 21-27 Moosic Police Report Highlights

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 90 calls between June 21-27.

On June 21, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 100 block of First Street. A reported fight sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 22, officers were dispatched to investigate a burglary in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. Officers responded to investigate an illegal fireworks complaint on Wylam Avenue.

On June 23, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 400 block of Fourth Street. A similar call sent officers to the 4200 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a noise complaint on Springbrook Avenue. A reported theft sent officers to a home in the 500 block of Orchard Street. Officers responded to investigate a harassment complaint in the 3000 block of Shoppes Boulevard.

 

On June 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint on Rocky Glen Road. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. Officers responded to investigate a road hazard in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. A similar call sent officers to the 900 block of Ralph Lane. Officers responded to investigate an activated alarm in the 4000 block of Fourth Street. A report of a suspicious vehicle sent officers to the intersection of Church and Wylam streets.

On June 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a 911 hang-up call in a home in the 4000 block of Krieg Avenue. Officers responded to a similar call on Birney Avenue. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 3300 block of Greenwood Avenue. Officers also assisted Scranton police with a call on Montage Mountain Road. A report of a suspicious person sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.
Officers responded to investigate a report of public drunkenness in the 4200 block of Birney Avenue. A report of a possible burglary sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Scott Street.
Officers responded to investigate a report of a fight in progress in the 3800 block of Birney Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 3600 block of Birney Avenue.
