TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more 75 calls between March 25-31.

On March 25, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a report of a woman pointing a handgun inside of a parked vehicle. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 700 block of South Main Street. Officers also responded to assist the fire department with a call in the 300 block of South Main Street.

On March 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Hospital and Phillips streets.

On March 27, officers were dispatched to investigate retail thefts at Walmart on Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 500 block of North Main Street.

On March 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 100 block of East High Street. A retail theft complaint sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street. Officers also responded to a home in the 500 block of Union Street to serve a warrant.

On March 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Davis Street. A civil dispute sent officers to a home in the 400 block of North Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person at the Price Chopper on Main Street.

On March 30, officers were dispatched to investigate a trespassing complaint on the Taylor Colliery property. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue.

On March 31, officers were dispatched to a home on Kennedy Boulevard to investigate a harassment complaint.

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 80 calls between March 24-30.

On March 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in progress at a home in the 3500 block of Winefield Avenue. A report of a suspicious person sent officers to the 3700 block of Wylam Avenue. Officers responded to investigate a complaint of a blocked driveway in the 200 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to assist emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in the 600 block of Rocky Glen Road.

On March 25, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 1100 block of Shopped Boulevard. A domestic dispute sent officers to the Moosic Motor Inn on Birney Avenue.

On March 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a fraud complaint at the Bear Creek Ski Shack on Montage Mountian Road. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the Dunkin Donuts on Birney Avenue.

On March 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a missing person in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.

On March 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a domestic dispute in progress in a home in the 3600 block of Lawrence Avenue. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the intersection of School Street and Birney Avenue. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 400 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of Minooka Avenue.

On March 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a 911 hang-up call in a home in the 100 block of Sharon Drive. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the intersection of Birney Avenue and Fifth Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Theodore Drive.

On March 30, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated burglar alarm in the 800 block of Grace Lane. A report of a disorderly female sent officers to a home in the 600 block of Minooka Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a missing person in the 3700 block of Kreig Avenue.

AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 25 calls between March 26-31.

On March 26, officers responded to the 700 block of Main Street and charged one man with public drunkenness, theft and resisting arrest.

On March 27, officers were dispatched to conduct traffic control at the intersection of McAlpine and Main streets when a train came to a stop in the area. A dispute between a landlord and a tenant sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Main Street. Officers arrested a man who was wanted in both Lackawanna and Luzerne counties on Plane Street.

On March 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint at the West Avoca Park. Police issued numerous traffic citations on Main Street.

On March 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a parking complaint in the 700 block of Main Street. Officers issued numerous traffic citations for speeding on Main Street.

On March 30, officers were dispatched to investigate a mental health complaint in a home on Linden Street. Officers issued numerous speeding tickets on Main Street.

On March 31, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicious activity in the 700 block of McAlpine Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the intersection of Main and McAlpine streets. Officers were dispatched to investigate reported drug activity in the 800 block of Main Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to the 600 block of Main Street.

OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 15 calls between March 24-30.

On March 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 500 block of Winter Street. Officers assisted the fire department with a call in the 500 block of Maple Street.

On March 25, officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Dunn Avenue.

On March 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint in a home in the 1100 block of South Main Street. Officers conducted a welfare check in a home in the 500 block of Maple Street.

On March 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 500 block of Bridge Street. A noise complaint sent officers to the 100 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of South Main Street.

On March 28, no police activity was reported.

On March 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious man in the 100 block of Garber Street. A domestic dispute sent an officer to a home in the 100 block of Sunny Drive. Officers also responded to assist the fire department with a call in the 100 block of Hendersen Street.

On March 30, officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Bubbernak Street to investigate a domestic dispute. Officers also responded to investigate an activated alarm in the 300 block of Atherton Street.
