TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to 65 calls between Sept. 24-30.

On Sept. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 700 block of West Grove Street. A threats complaint sent officers to the 200 block of East Grove Street. Officers also responded to investigate a retail theft complaint in the 1500 block of South Main Street.

On Sept. 25, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Rinaldi Drive. A similar call sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard.

On Sept. 26, officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of East Taylor Street to investigate a tresspassing complaint. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of found drug parapernailia in the 100 block of East Taylor Street. Officers also responded to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a report of a couple performing lewd acts inside the vehicle.

On Sept. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Oak Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Rinaldi Drive. A property theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Colon Court.

On Sept. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischeif complaint in the 200 block of Church Street. A cellphone theft sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.

On Sept. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Rockledge Terrace. The driver was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

On Sept. 30, officers were dispatched to investigate a reproted fight in progress on Little League Boulevard. Officers also conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Union Street. The driver was arrested for susupiicon of DUI.

AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 30 calls between Sept. 18-29.

On Sept. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate a 911 hang-up call in the 600 block of Main Street.

On Sept. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischeif complaint on Plane Street. Police also issued warnings for code enforcement violations on Main Street and York Avenue.

On Sept. 20, officers were dispatched to investigate a loitering complaint in the 700 block of Main Street. Officers also issued code enforcement violation warnings on Plane Street, Main Street, Grove Street and South Street.

On Sept. 21, officers responded to investigate a report of an open door in the 700 block of Main Street. Officers also issued warnings for code enforcement violations on Pittston Avenue, School Street and Howard Street.

On Sept. 22, officers responded to an activated alarm on Cherry Street. Officers also issued warnings for code enforcement violations on Main Street. Officers arrested a Scranton man for simple assault following a domestic dispute in a home on Lampman Street.

On Sept. 23, officers were dispatched to investigate a parking complaint in the 800 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to assit the Scranton police with a call in the 500 block of Main Street.

On Sept. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm on Plane Street.

On Sept. 25, officers responded to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of Main Street. A 911 hang-up call sent officers to a home in the 800 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a suspicious juvenile in the 1100 block of Main Street.

A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Grove Street. Officers also assisted a motorist on Main Street.

On Sept. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint on Vine Street. Officers conducted traffic control in the 200 block of Main Street. Officers also issued several warnings for code enforcement violations in the 500 block of McAlpine Street.

On Sept. 27, officers issued several traffic citations for violations on Main Street.

On Sept. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 700 block of McAlpine Street. The man was arrested harassment. A fraud complaint sent offices to a home on Plane Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 900 block of Main Street.

On Sept. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate reported phone scam on York Avenue. A loud noise complaint sent officers to the 700 block of Main Street.
