TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more than 285 calls between Dec. 12 and Jan. 13.
On Dec. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary in the 300 block of South Keyser Avenue. A domestic sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Main Street.
On Dec. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 200 block of West Grove Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the Price Chopper on Main Street.
On Dec. 14, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft of an electronic shopping cart from the Walmart on Main Street.
On Dec. 15, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft on Rockledge Terrace.
On Dec. 16, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary in the 1100 block of Loomis Avenue.
On Dec. 17, officers were dispatched to investigate an attempted burglary in the 200 block of North Main Street. A harassment complaint sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard. Officers also investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1100 block of Reynolds Avenue.
On Dec. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute on Rockledge Terrace. Officers assisted the fire department with a call in the 200 block of West Taylor Street.
On Dec. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Linewood Lane. A report of credit card fraud sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.
On Dec. 20, officers were dispatched to investigate a civil dispute in the 1100 block of Reynolds Avenue. Officers responded to investigate a report of illegal dumping on South Keyser Avenue.
On Dec. 21, officers were dispatched to investigate an illegal dumping complaint on South Main Street.
On Dec. 22, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft complaint at the Walmart on Main Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.
On Dec. 23, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 700 block of Sibley Avenue.
On Dec. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Union Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.
On Dec. 25, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a man causing a disturbance in the 1100 block of Kersteeter Court
From Dec. 26 to Dec. 31, no police activity was reported.
On Jan. 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported armed robbery at the Price Chopper on Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Union and Main streets. The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
On Jan. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a threats complaint at the Cole Muffler on Main Street.
On Jan. 3, officers were dispatched investigate a fraud complaint at the Walmart on Main Street. A reported assault sent officers to investigate in the 500 block of Union Street.
On Jan. 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at Walmart on Main Street.
On Jan. 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary in the 900 block of South Main Street.
On Jan . 6, officers were dispatched to a reported assault on Kennedy Boulevard.
On Jan. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 100 block of South Washington Avenue.
On Jan. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary in the 800 block of West Taylor Street.
On Jan. 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported assault on Kennedy Boulevard.
On Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute at the Walmart on Main Street.
On Jan. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. A report of a suspicious man sent officers to the 400 block of Main Street.
On Jan. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint on Storrs Street.
On Jan. 13, officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on South Main Street. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
