AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 20 calls between Aug. 21-26.

On Aug. 21, officers responded to the 500 block of McAlpine Street to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle. A theft complaint sent officers to the 700 block of McAlpine Street. Officers also responded to a home on Pittston Avenue to investigate a reported phone scam.

On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to McAlpine and Pine streets to investigate a report of juveniles causing a disturbance. A reported trespassing complaint sent officers to the 700 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of Main Street. Officers issued numerous citations throughout the day to motor carriers.

On Aug. 23, officers investigated a corruption of minors complaint.

On Aug. 24, officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

On Aug. 25, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Pittston Avenue to investigate several criminal mischief complaints. A disorderly conduct complaint sent officers to a home on Howard Street. Officers also responded to the 700 block of Main Street to investigate a custody dispute.

On Aug. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm on Gedding Street. A report of a wanted person sent officers to the 800 block of William Street. Officers also responded to the area of Main and Clark streets to investigate a reported assault.

OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 40 calls between Aug. 18-25.

On Aug. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of Stewart Street. A threats complaint sent officers to the 600 block of Hickory Street.

Officers also responded to assist Taylor police with a call in the borough.

On Aug. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Sussex Street. A theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 300 block of West Mary Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in a home in the 100 block of Elm Street. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Forge Street.

A report of a disorderly man sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Sonny Drive. Officers also responded to investigate an animal complaint in the 200 block of Barber Street.

On Aug. 20, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in the 100 block of South Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 900 block of South Main Street. Officers also responded to a home in the 100 block of Apache Drive to investigate a 911 hang-up call.

On Aug. 21, officers responded to investigate a harassment complaint in a home in the 200 block of Charles Street.

On Aug. 22, officers were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Marion Street to investigate an activated alarm. A dispute between a landlord and a tenant sent officers to the 600 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of South Main Street.

On Aug. 23, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of Kelly Drive to investigate a report of fraudulent calls. A report of juveniles causing a disturbance sent officers to the 200 block of South Main Street. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of South Main Street.

On Aug. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 200 block of South Keyser Avenue. Officers responded to assist Taylor police with a call in the borough. Officers also conducted a routine vehicle stop on Moosic Road. Officers made one drug arrest during the traffic stop. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the intersection of Bridge Street and Lonesome Road to investigate a reported motor vehicle accident.

On Aug. 25, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in the 100 block of South Main Street. A theft complaint sent officers to the 800 block of South Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate an activated alarm in the 100 block of Nicholas Drive.
