AVOCA POLICE: No report was available at press time.

OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 30 calls between Oct. 21-27.

On Oct. 21, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 400 block of Sampson Street.

On Oct. 22, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft in the 400 block of Bridge Street. A reported burglary sent officers to a home in the 600 block of Fallon Street. Officers also responded to a similar call in the 700 block of Fallon Street. Police made one arrest.

On Oct. 23, a bad checks complaint sent officers to the 200 block of South Main Street.

On Oct. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in progress in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue. A theft complaint sent officers to the 100 block of South Main Street. One arrest was made.

Officers responded to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of Rose Lane. A report of a possible burglary sent officers to the 100 block of Williams Street.

On Oct. 25, officers were dispatched to investigate reported window damage in the 400 block of North Main Street. A report of an injured deer sent officers to the 200 block of Sampon Street. Officers responded to assist Duryea police with a call in the 1100 block of South Main Street. A report of a disorderly female sent officers to the 800 block of Oak Street.

On Oct. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in progress in the 300 block of South Main Street. Three arrests were made. A report of a disorderly person sent officers to the 1200 block of Mine Street.

On Oct. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an injured deer in the 100 block of Corcoran Street. A report of a suspicious man sent officers to the 500 block of South Main Street. Officers responded to the 300 block of South Main Street to investigate a similar report involving a female.

An activated alarm sent officers to investigate in the 400 block of Bridge Street. Officers also responded to assist a disabled motorist in the area of Main Street and Lonesome Road.

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more than 85 calls between Oct. 15-28.

On Oct. 15, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 1100 block of Loomis Avenue. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to the Taylor Community Center on Main Street. Officers also responded to an accident at the railroad bridge on Oak Street.

On Oct. 16, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a property theft complaint in the 1000 block of Sampson Street. Several thefts from motor vehicle complaints sent officers to Hospital Street.

On Oct. 17, officers were dispatched to investigate a property theft complaint in the 500 block of West Hospital Street. A report of a disorderly person sent officers to the 1200 block of Reynolds Avenue.

On Oct. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident on Depot Street. A report of a suspicious man sent officers to West Hospital Street. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of West Hospital Street.

On Oct. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an intoxicated man at the Riverside High School football field. A civil dispute sent officers to a home on Vista Lane.

On Oct. 20, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a retail theft. A property theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Union Street. Officers also responded to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 400 block of West Hospital Street.

On Oct. 21, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 600 block of Hospital Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Hospital Street. Officers also responded to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street.

On Oct. 22, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 700 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an attempted burglary in the 1000 block of Claire Drive. Officers later identified and arrested the involved person. Officers also assisted the Lackawanna County Sheriff's department with a call in the 100 block of Hospital Street.

On Oct. 23, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary in the 400 block of Main Street. A reported vehicle break in sent officers to Amherst Park. Officers also responded to investigate a report of loitering juveniles at the Taylor Community Center on Main Street.

On Oct. 24, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a reported retail theft. Officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home on Kennedy Boulevard. Motor vehicle violations sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Rinaldi Drive.

On Oct. 25, officers responded to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 1300 block of South Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the intersection of Main and Davis streets. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Main Street. The driver was found to be in possession of several stolen handguns.

On Oct. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of juveniles causing a disturbance in the Walmart on Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the Price Chopper on Main Street.

On Oct. 27, officers were dispatched to the Walmart on Main Street to investigate a fraud and retail theft complaint. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 200 block of Oak Street. The female driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

On Oct. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a property theft complaint in the 1400 block of Schlager Street. A report of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance sent officers to the 700 block of Main Street.

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 110 calls between Oct. 13-22.

On Oct. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident on Birney Avenue. A report of a suspicious vehicle sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. A report of a missing dog sent officers to a home on Joyce Street.

On Oct. 14, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Fourth Street. A theft complaint sent officers to the 4000 block of Birney Avenue. Officers responded to investigate a report of shots fired off of Sharon Drive. A suspicious vehicle sent officers to Rocky Glen Road.

Officers responded to investigate a harassment complaint in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. A bike theft sent officers to the 400 block of Minooka Avenue.

Officers responded to investigate a theft complaint in the 300 block of Main Street. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident in the intersection of Springbrook and Birney avenues. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

On Oct. 15, officers were dispatched to assist emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in a home in the 100 block of Erie Street.

On Oct. 16, no police activity was reported.

On Oct. 17, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident at Terry's Diner on Birney Avenue. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 4700 block of Birney Avenue.

On Oct. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly man in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. A fraud complaint sent officers to the 400 block of Fourth Street. Officers responded to investigate a bear complaint in the 1100 block of Water Street.

On Oct. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a road rage incident in the 500 block of Church Street. Officers responded to motor vehicle accidents on Springbrook Avenue, Birney Avenue and Rocky Glen Road.

On Oct. 20, officers conducted a traffic stop on Birney Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence. A dog complaint sent officers to Wagner Street. Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. An animal complaint sent officers to the 1400 block of Grove Street. Officers also responded to a dog complaint in the 3800 block of Laurel Avenue. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Fourth Street.

On Oct. 21, officers were dispatched to investigate activated alarms on Birney Avenue and South Street. A reported assault sent officers to a home on Honor Park.

On Oct. 22, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly man causing a disturbance in the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. A theft complaint sent officers to a home on Railroad Avenue.
