AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 30 calls between Jan. 2-14.

On Jan. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 700 block of McAlpine Street. A reported fight in progress sent officers to the 800 block of Main Street. One male and one female were arrested for simple assault and harassment. Officers also responded to investigate a harassment complaint in the 600 block of Main Street.

On Jan. 3, officers responded to investigate a vandalism complaint in the 500 block of Main Street. An activated burglar alarm sent officers to a home in the 1100 block of Main Street.

On Jan. 4, officers were dispatched to a civil dispute in a home in the 200 block of Grove Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Main Street. The driver was arrested for drug delivery and possession.

On Jan. 5, officers were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of York Avenue. Two females were arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home on Plane Street.

On Jan. 6, officers conducted a traffic stop on York Avenue. The female driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

On Jan. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary on Valley Street.

On Jan. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint on York Avenue.

On Jan. 9, no police activity was reported.

On Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of illegal dumping in the 800 block of Main Street. A reported theft from a vehicle sent officers to a home on Wood Street.

On Jan. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in the 200 block of Main Street. Upon arriving, police located a stolen vehicle. Two males were later arrested by another police department for the vehicle theft. Officers also received a threats complaint at the police station.

On Jan. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 900 block of Main Street.

On Jan. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate reported thefts from motor vehicles at St. Mary's, off of Main Street. Officers later located the male responsible for the theft in the 500 block of McAlpine Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home on Main Street.

Officers responded to investigate a report of a suspicious man on Main Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to a home on Vine Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a dog struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of McAlpine Street.

OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 20 calls between Jan. 6-12.

On Jan. 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported hit-and-run accident in the 800 block of Sibley Avenue. A report of suspicious activity sent officers to the 600 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported 911 hang-up call in a home on Jones Street. Once there, police arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.

On Jan. 7, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Spring Street to investigate a criminal mischief complaint. An open burning complaint sent officers to the 100 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Officers responded to a criminal mischief complaint in the 400 block of Main Street.

A report of a possible theft sent officers to the 100 block of Casper Street. Officers also assisted emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in a home in the 100 block of Taroli Street.

On Jan. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in the 500 block of Oak Street. A similar call sent officers to a home in the 300 block of Vine Street. Officers also responded to investigate a parking complaint in the 100 block of Barber Street.

On Jan. 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported hit-and-run accident on South Keyser Avenue. A reported domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

On Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Susquehanna Avenue to investigate a criminal mischief complaint. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 400 block of South Main Street. A report of a suspicious man sent officers to the 200 block of Hoover Street. Officers also responded to a home in the 400 block of Kohler Avenue to investigate a report of a missing juvenile.

On Jan. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 300 block of South Main Street. A report of a verbal domestic sent officers to the 500 block of Maple Street. Officers responded to assist the fire department with a structure fire in the 500 block of Fallon Street.

On Jan. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 400 block of Moosic Road.

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to 75 calls between Jan. 8-13.

On Jan. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of South Main Street. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). A 911 hang-up call sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard.

On Jan. 9, officers were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of South Main Street to investigate a reported domestic. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Taylor Street. The driver was arrested for DUI. Officers also responded to a harassment complaint at the Riverside High School.

On Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate an identity theft complaint in the 100 block of South Ridge Street. A fraud complaint sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street. Officers were also dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home on Hospital Street.

On Jan. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly man at the Turkey Hill on Keyser Avenue. Officers located the man and arrested him for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

On Jan. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 100 block of South Washington Avenue. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 100 block of East Taylor Street.

On Jan. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in a home in the 400 block of Schrader Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to the 100 block of West Taylor Street.

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 60 calls between Dec. 29 and Jan. 6.

On Dec. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 600 block of River Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 2000 block of Shoppes Boulevard. Officers also responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Spring Street.

On Dec. 30, officers assisted state police with a call on the exit ramp of I-81.

On Dec. 31, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 3500 block of Spring Street.

On Jan. 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Main Street.

On Jan. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. A report of an intoxicated man sent officers to the 3500 block of Birney Avenue.

On Jan. 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint in the 500 block of Church Street. An activated alarm sent officers to the 4800 block of Birney Avenue.

On Jan. 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident on Montage Mountain Road. Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the 4600 block of Birney Avenue. A harassment complaint sent officers to the 700 block of Corey Street.

Officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home on Catherine Street. An activated alarm sent officers to the Moosic Diner on Birney Avenue.

On Jan. 5, officers were dispatched to an activated burglar alarm at the Moosic Mini Mart.

On Jan. 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft from a motor vehicle complaint in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. A similar call sent officers to the 3400 block of Birney Avenue.
