OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 35 calls between Aug. 25-31.

On Aug. 25, officers responded to investigate a retail theft on Lonesome Road. A report of a suspicious person sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Spring Street. Officers returned to the same area to investigate a report of a disorderly female. Officers also investigated a reported theft of a cellphone in the 100 block of North Main Street.

On Aug. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a metal theft in the 300 block of Oak Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to the 300 block of Bridge Street. Officers responded to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 800 block of South Main Street.

Officers responded to conduct a welfare check in the 400 block of Church Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of West Oak Street.

On Aug. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 200 block of North Main Street. Officers assisted Taylor police with a call in the 400 block of Phillips Street. A similar call sent officers to the 100 block of North Main Street.

On Aug. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 700 block of George Street. A medication theft sent officers to a home in the 300 block of First Street. Officers responded to conduct a welfare check in a home in the 200 block of Marion Street. Officers also responded to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 100 block of Jones Street.

On Aug. 29, officers conducted a traffic stop on Lonesome Road. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with a call in the 100 block of Keyser Avenue. A nuisance complaint sent officers to the 100 block of Albion Street. Officers also responded to investigate a gas theft in the 100 block of Keyser Avenue.

A harassment complaint sent officers to a home on Moosic Road. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of Moosic Road. Officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute inside a home in the 100 block of Stewart Street.

On Aug. 30, officers were dispatched to assist the school bus company in the 700 block of Clevio Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 300 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate multiple thefts in the 1200 block of Franklin Street.

On Aug. 31, a theft of keys and a wallet sent officers to a home in the 400 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to assist emergency medical service with a call in a home in the 400 block of Kohlor Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate an activated alarm in the 1200 block of Lori Lane.
