OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 65 calls between May 31 and June 14.

On May 31, officers were dispatched to investigate a dispute between neighbors in the 300 block of McClure Avenue. Officers were dispatched to assist Taylor police with a call in the 300 block of North Main Street.

On June 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly man in the 1100 block of Franklin Street.

On June 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a trespassing complaint in the 300 block of Marion Street. Police conducted a welfare check inside a home in the 900 block of Moosic Road. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to the 1200 block of Lori Lane.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a female yelling in the 400 block of Lawrence Street. A report of suspicious activity sent officers to a home in the 100 block of North Keyser Avenue.

On June 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly person in the 300 block of Main Street. A report of a fight in progress sent officers to Miles Street. Officers conducted two arrests.

On June 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 300 block of Keyser Avenue. A report of a disorderly man sent officers to the 300 block of Marion Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in the 500 block of Hickory Street.

On June 6, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 700 block of Moosic Road. Police assisted officers from Dunmore with a call in the 1200 block of South Main Street.

On June 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a verbal domestic in the 400 block of Melmore Street. A reported violation of a protection from abuse order sent officers to a home in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of illegal burning in the 100 block of Lonesome Road.

Officers returned to a home in the 400 block of Melmore Street to investigate a reported domestic dispute in progress. One person was arrested.

On June 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft in the 500 block of Summer Street. A verbal domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Melmore Street. Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with a call in the 500 block of Moosic Road.

On June 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 200 block of West Grace Street. Police were dispatched to investigate a report of illegal burning in the 100 block of Lonesome Road. Officers were sent to investigate a report of a disorderly person causing a problem in the 100 block of Sussex Street. Officers also responded to a home in the 100 block of Amity Avenue to assist the Lackawanna County Agency on Aging.

On June 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft at a home in the 100 block of Sussex Street. A reported noise complaint sent police to a home in the 100 block of Sussex Street.

On June 11, officers responded to the 600 block of South Main Street to investigate a report of a harassment.

On June 12, officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check inside a home in the 1200 block of Mowry Street.

On June 13, officers responded to a home in the 100 block of Jones Street to investigate a report of two disorderly people inside the home causing a disturbance.

On June 14, officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Keyser Avenue to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers were also dispatched to investigate a report of juveniles causing a disturbance in the 800 block of West Oak Street.

 

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more than 140 calls between June 1-16.

On June 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot on Main Street.

On June 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a loose dog roaming in and out of traffic on the Davis Street Bridge. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the 100 block of Pond Street.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident at the Price Chopper on Main Street. Two complaints of retail theft sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.

 

On June 4, officers were dispatched to investigate the violation of a protection from abuse (PFA) order inside a home in the 600 block of Union Street. A reported assault sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Union Street. Officers returned to a home in the 100 block of Union Street to investigate a reported domestic dispute.

A report of shoplifting sent officers to the 1300 block of Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a fight in progress in the 200 block of Main Street. Police issued a traffic citation in the 800 block of Union Street.

On June 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident (MVA) in the intersection of Main and Davis streets. Police conducted several traffic stops and issued citations on Union and Main streets.

Officers were also dispatched to assist Old Forge police with a call on South Keyser Avenue.

On June 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an erratic driver on the Davis Street Bridge. A report of a domestic dispute in progress sent officers to a home in the 200 block of West Taylor Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported assault in a home in the 1200 block of North Main Street.

Officers were dispatched to assist Old Forge police with a call in the 1200 block of Main Street. Activated burglar alarms sent officers to the 1400 and 900 blocks of Main Street.

A report of a suspicious vehicle sent officers to the 100 block of Church Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Bald Mountain Road. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Police also issued a traffic citation on South Keyser Avenue.

On June 7, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Main Street. The driver was arrested for DUI. A dog complaint sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street. Police were sent to investigate a theft complaint in the 1200 block of Loomis Avenue. An activated alarm sent officers to the 1000 block of Williams Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Main Street.

Officers also conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Main Street. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Officers were dispatched to a home on Kennedy Boulevard to investigate an allegation of mail tampering. An MVA sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.

On June 9, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Main Street. The driver was arrested for DUI. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an erratic driver on Davis Street. Police were dispatched to investigate a report of a domestic dispute in a home in the 900 block of Keyser Avenue. Officers were sent to assist Old Forge police with a call in the 400 block of Melmore Street.

On June 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a MVA at McDade Park off of Keyser Avenue. Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Oak Street. Police made a narcotics arrest in the 1300 block of Main Street at the Game Stop store.

On June 11, officers assisted the Scranton police with a call in the 100 block of Rinaldi Drive. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Sibley Avenue. Officers issued a traffic citation in the intersection of Schlager Street and Kerstetter Court. Police also conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Oak and Third streets.

A custody dispute sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Colon Court. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported use of false identification at the Walmart on Main Street. A report of suspicious people sent officers to the 500 block of Union Street.

On June 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported scam on West Grove Street. A retail theft sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Union Street. Officers also issued a traffic citation in the intersection of Oak and Main streets.

On June 13, officers responded to investigate an animal complaint in the 1500 block of Main Street. Police were dispatched to assist the fire department with a call in the 100 block of Storrs Street. A report of an erratic driver sent officers to the 1300 block of Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 1100 block of Main Street.

On June 14, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a dog barking in the 600 block of Von Bergen Street. Police made a narcotics and DUI arrest in the 100 block of Oak Street. Two retail theft complaints sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street. Officers were sent to investigate a loitering complaint at the intersection of Veteran’s Drive and Main Street.

On June 15, officers were dispatched to investigate a MVA in the Walmart entrance on Main Street. Officers also conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Main Street, resulting in a DUI arrest. A complaint of a barking dog sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard. Officers also conducted an investigation on Kennedy Boulevard. A report of public drunkenness sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.

On June 16, officers were dispatched to investigate an abandoned vehicle on Rockledge Terrace. Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Main Street. A reported disturbance sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Rock Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicious people at the Radio Shack on Main Street. Police also responded to an MVA in the 300 block of Main Street. The driver was arrested for DUI.

 

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 65 calls between June 1-7.

On June 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of Spring Street. A similar call sent officers to Pittston Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a reported fight in progress in the 800 block of Davis Street.

Officers were dispatched to investigate theft complaints in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue and the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident on Montage Mountain Road.

On June 2, officers welfare dispatched to investigate a trespassing complaint in the 100 block of Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of illegal all terrain vehicle activity on Glenmaura Drive.

Police conducted an investigation in the 700 block of Minooka Avenue.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 2500 block of Birney Avenue. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the Shoppes at Montage. Officers responded to investigate a report of an accident between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. Police were sent to investigate a disorderly conduct complaint in a home on Spruce Street. A domestic dispute in progress sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Fourth Street.

On June 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious person on Birney Avenue and Church Streets.

On June 5, officers were dispatched to investigate activated alarms on Springbrook Avenue, Shoppes Boulevard and Birney Avenue.

On June 6, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 1000 block of Shoppes Boulevard. Police were sent to conduct a welfare check inside a home in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. Officers responded to a custody dispute inside a home on Honor Park.

Police were dispatched to assist Old Forge officers with a call in the 1200 block of Main Street.

On June 7, officers were dispatched to investigate activated burglar alarms on Glenmaura National Boulevard and Birney Avenue.

Police were also dispatched to investigate a report of a disoriented man alongside Montage Mountian Road.
