OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 60 calls between Nov. 11 and Dec. 8.

On Nov. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in the 900 block of Wood Street. A noise complaint sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Williams Street. Officers responded to investigate criminal mischief complaints on Villa Drive and in the 700 block of West Oak Street.

On Nov. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of counterfeit money in the 100 block of North Keyser Avenue. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to the 500 block of Dunn Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate a report of found property in the 500 block of Moosic Road.

On Nov. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 200 block of Marion Street. Officers assisted Scranton police with a search in the 600 block of Oak Street. An animal complaint sent officers to a home in the 300 block of Sonny Drive. Officers assisted the fire department with a call in the 100 block of Connell Street. Officers also responded to investigate a theft complaint in the 900 block of Moosic Road.

On Nov. 14, no police activity was reported.

On Nov. 15, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 900 block of Moosic Road.

On Nov. 16, officers were dispatched to investigate a parking complaint in the 200 block of Barber Street. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 300 block of Drakes Street. Officers served an arrest warrant in the 100 block of West Grace Street.

On Nov. 17, officers were dispatched to assist emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in a home in the 1200 block of Mowery Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to the 200 block of Carter Street. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sussex Street.

Nov. 18-24, no police reports were available.

Nov. 25, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of Donny Drive.

On Nov. 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in a home in the 500 block of Dunn Avenue. A reported assault sent officers to a home in the 900 block of Sibley Avenue. An activated alarm sent officers to the 100 block of North Main Street. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 400 block of Carter Street. Officers also responded to investigate a dispute between a landlord and a tenant in the 400 block of Winter Street.

On Nov. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle in the 700 block of Kholer Avenue.

On Nov. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Butler Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Taroli Street. Officers also responded to investigate a reported theft in the 500 block of Edith Street.

On Nov. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute. One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 200 block of West Mary Street.

On Dec. 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in the 500 block of South Main Street.

On Dec. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of items missing from a residence in the 200 block of Charles Street. A report of an erratic driver sent officers to the 900 block of South Main Street. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver. Officers responded to investigate a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 500 block of Hickory Street.

A report of a domestic dispute in progress sent officers to a home in the 400 block of Dunn Avenue. Officers arrested two individuals during the investigation. Officers also responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Powell and Stewart streets.

On Dec. 3, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 300 block of Vine Street. A civil complaint sent officers to the 600 block of Oak Street. Officers also responded to investigate a reported theft from a business in the 100 block of South Main Street.

On Dec. 4, officers were dispatched serve an arrest warrant in the 100 block of Lonesome Road. Officers were dispatched to assist Taylor police with the pursuit of a wanted suspect. Officers also assisted Scranton police with a call in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue.

On Dec. 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft in the 100 block of Stewart Street. A report of an attempted break-in sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Albion Street. Officers also responded to investigate a verbal domestic dispute in a home in the 300 block of Vine Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the intersection of Sibley and Keyser Avenues.

On Dec. 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported phone scam in the 100 block of Second Street. Theft complaints sent officers to the 200 block of South Main Street and the 100 block of Lonesome Road.

On Dec. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of possible fraud in the 300 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to assist EMS with a call in the 700 block of Beech Street. A reported theft from a residence sent officers to the 100 block of Third Street. A verbal domestic dispute sent officers to the 900 block of Wood Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly and intoxicated person in the 1200 block of Franklin Street.

On Dec. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an activated car alarm in the 100 block of North Keyser Avenue. A similar call sent officers to the 500 block of North Keyser Avenue. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 200 block of East Morton Street. A 911 hang-up call sent officers to the 100 block of Sussex Street.

Officers were dispatched to a dispute between neighbors in the 200 block of Smith Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to a home in the 600 block of South Main Street.

AVOCA POLICE: Officers responded to more than 25 calls between Dec. 1-10.

On Dec. 1, officers were dispatched to a home in the 700 block of Main Street to serve a protection from abuse order. A 911 hang-up call sent officers to a home on William Street.

On Dec. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home on Lampman Street. Officers responded to a traffic problem in the 900 block of Main Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the 700 block of Main Street.

On Dec. 3, officers located and arrested an Avoca man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

On Dec. 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a 911 hang-up call in a home on St. Mary's Street.

On Dec. 5, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Main Street to investigate a report of a wanted man in the area. The man was located in the 600 block of Main Street and arrested.

On Dec. 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischief complaint to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Plane Street. Officers assisted emergency medical services (EMS) with a call on Lampman Street. Officers also responded to check on the welfare of a child in the 200 block of Lampman Street.

On Dec. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a parking complaint in the 600 block of Main Street. A report of identity theft sent officers to a home on McAlpine Street. Officers also issued several traffic citations on Main Street.

On Dec. 8, officers were dispatched to assist EMS with a call in the 700 block of Main Street.

On Dec. 9, no police activity was reported.

On Dec. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious person on Commerce Street.

 

MOOSIC POLICE: No report was available at press time

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to 90 calls between Dec. 3-13.

On Dec. 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Walmart on Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 100 block of Union Street.

On Dec. 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute on Barbara Lane. A report of credit card fraud sent officers to a home on Church Street.

On Dec. 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint on Rockledge Terrace. A theft from a residence sent officers to a home in the 1200 block of Loomis Avenue. Officers also investigated a criminal mischief complaint at the Taylor Community Center.

On Dec. 6, a domestic dispute sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard.

On Dec. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate an identity theft complaint in a home in the 1500 block of Sloan Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the 200 block of North Main Street.

On Dec. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft complaint at the Walmart on Main Street. A complaint of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance sent officers to the 200 block of North Main Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of terrorist threats in the 300 block of Main Street.

On Dec. 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a criminal mischeif complaint in the 1100 block of Reynolds Avenue. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to a home in the 1300 block of Sclager Street. Officers also assisted Moosic police with a call at the Rodeway Inn on Birney Avenue.

On Dec. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicious men at the intersection of Colon Court and South Sixth Street.
