Taylor Borough Police: Officers responded to 80 calls between Aug. 10-15.
On Aug. 10, police responded to a reported fight in progress in the 100 block of Jefferson Street. They responded to a report of a prowler in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue. They helped state police search for a wanted black male who had escaped from their custody.
On Aug. 11, officers went to Stauffer Road and Oak street for a reported suspicious parked vehicle. They responded to the unit block of Rockledge Terrace for a reported harassment complaint. An alarm sent them to West Taylor.
On Aug. 12, officers responded to South Main and Union for a reported harassment complaint. A reported theft of golf balls sent police to Park's Your Skor driving range. They investigated a suspicious package at the Taylor Post Office.
On Aug. 13, they responded to a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Jefferson Street. A reported domestic dispute sent them to the 100 block of Chambers Street. While in the 100 block of East Atherton Street for a traffic stop, they discovered the driver was operating a stolen vehicle. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.
On Aug. 14, police responded to Taylor Classic Car Wash, 901 S. Main St., for a criminal mischief. They answered a call from Price Chopper for an intoxicated male causing a problem. A reported loud party sent police to the 1200 block of Reynolds Avenue.
On Aug. 15, officers responded to Oak and Main streets for a reported attempt theft. They helped Moosic police at K-Mart for a reported fight. They went to the 1000 block of Union Street for a motor vehicle accident.
Moosic Police: Officers responded to 122 calls between Aug. 8-15.
On Aug. 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported fight in the 500 block of Park Street. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to the Courtyard by Marriott on Shoppes Boulevard. Officers responded to a domestic dispute on Gleason Drive. A theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue.
Officers also investigated a public drunkensess complaint on Montage Mountain Road. A reported assault sent officers to Montage Mountain Road.
On Aug. 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft from a motor vehicle complaint in the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. A 911 hang-up call sent officers to a home on Park Street. Officers responded to three domestic dispute calls in a home in the 3300 block of Cedar Avenue. A theft complaint sent officers to the 3500 block of Birney Avenue.
On Aug. 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicous people in the 1400 block of East Grove Street. A suspicious vehicle complaint sent officers to Joyce Street. Officers were dispatched to a dispute between neighbors in the 300 block of Main Street.
On Aug. 11, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 4900 block of Birney Avenue. A similar call sent officers to Bitty Bill's on Birney Avenue.
On Aug. 12, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 200 block of Main Street. A motor vehicle accident sent officers to the intersection of Birney Avenue and Rocky Glen Road.
On Aug. 13, officers were dispatched to investigate a disorderly person complaint in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to a home in the 4200 block of Birney Avenue. Officers investigated a hit-and-run accident in the 3800 block of Pittston Avenue.
On Aug. 14, officers were dispatched to investigate a all-terrain vehicle theft in the 400 block of Fourth Street. A harassment complaint sent officers to a home in the 500 block of Minooka Avenue. Officers investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 500 block of Dupont Street.
On Aug. 15, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in a home in the 800 block of Eighth Street. A theft complaint sent officers to a home on Radcliff Drive. Officers also investigated an activated alarm on Birney Avenue.
