The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) is a statewide organization of junior and senior high school students designed to stimulate and promote interest in science among its members through the development of research projects and investigations. Eleven Old Forge School District students participated this year.
Hannah Lisowski, Cassandra Nocera, Ashley Bound and Amanda Katchmar all received first-place awards and will be attending the state-wide competition in May at Penn State’s main campus. Katchmar received a perfect score.
