Pam Insalaca led sixth-grade students at Riverside to participate in the PA Media and Design Competition. More than 120 students participated and there were 68 submissions.

All first-, second- and third-place winners qualified for the 2020 Regional PA Media and Design Competition at Keystone College.
Judges for the competition are: Rachel Luzio Dubernas, systems analyst at Prudential Financial; Scott J. Weiland, chair of the mass communications department and professor at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, and Doug Womelsdorf, Riverside’s curriculum director.
Chris Feerrar, Craig Reifler, Tom Borthwick’s ESports team members and NEIU19’s Stephanie Williams created the content and program for the competition.
